A new book of engaging simple psalm chants for the coming liturgical year has been produced and will be launched at All Saints, Clooney, Londonderry on Saturday the 14th November at 11.00 a.m and at St Fin Barre’s Cathedral, Cork on Sunday the 22nd November at Evensong at 7.00 p.m.
The Liturgical Advisory Committee met in Church of Ireland House Dublin on May 20th, when a variety of subjects were discussed, many of which will form the agenda for future meetings.
A sub-committee of the LAC has produced a green paper on Liturgical Space. All dioceses are asked to consider the implications of this paper during 2009 and to send their views and findings to the Revd Gerald Field.
The Liturgical Advisory Committee met in Church House Dublin on January 23rd, and welcomed Ms. Julie Bell as a newly co-opted member.

The most recent meeting of the LAC was the residential meeting which took place on November 11th and 12th.
At its meeting on Friday 22nd February, the LAC received update reports from the sub-groups working on the Psalms project, the PRISM Series, Liturgical Space and Electronic Liturgy.
At its annual two day meeting on Tuesday and Wednesday, 11th & 12th December 2007, the Liturgical Advisory Committee, chaired by Bishop Harold Miller, welcomed Robert Ferris to his first meeting as the CITC representative to the LAC.
