Commissioning of Pastoral Visitors in Armagh Diocese
A Service of Commissioning for Pastoral Visitors took place in Mullavilly Parish Church on Monday 9th May when 10 visitors were commissioned by Archbishop John McDowell after undertaking training led by Archdeacon Elizabeth Cairns.
Simon Malley will be doing a Wheelchair Push to raise money for Aware again this year. He is starting on 1st June and will finish on 30th June. We still remember all the lockdowns during the pandemic. In 2021, when everyone was restricted to a 5km radius, Simon wondered how many kms he could do in his wheelchair in a month without leaving his 5km restriction.
Royal exhibition in Drummaul to mark Platinum Jubilee
In honour of the Queen’s Platinum Jubilee, Drummaul Parish Church is hosting a right Royal exhibition until 22nd May. The church will be full of memorabilia collected over the years by the vicar of Drummaul, Duneane and Ballyscullion, the Rev Canon Derek Kerr.

The church plant teams from Glen and West Winds Community Churches, in Newtownards, recently set up two separate ministry groups supporting girls in their school transitional years (P7–Yr 11) in the estates in an effort to build positive relationships.
