– four churches, ranging in style from medieval elegance in Adare to a 20th century church in Kilmallock
– Church of Ireland primary school in Adare
– close proximity to Limerick City with all its cultural and educational opportunities
– a well–maintained period Glebe in Adare which is itself part of the distinctive architectural heritage of the village
