Priest–in–Charge (half–time) of Moviddy Union of Parishes & Healthcare Chaplain (half–time) – Diocese of Cork, Cloyne & Ross

Priest–in–Charge (half–time) of Moviddy Union of Parishes & Healthcare Chaplain (half–time) – Diocese of Cork, Cloyne & Ross

The Bishop of Cork, Cloyne and Ross wishes to appoint a priest–in–charge (half–time) of the Parish of Moviddy Union, who will serve also as a half–time Healthcare Chaplain  in Cork University Hospital, the Bon Secours Hospital, and Marymount University Hospital and Hospice, all of which are in Cork.  Moviddy Union is a small parish to the west and north–west of Cork City, where the faithful parishioners are confident in their ministry, outreach and engagement with the Diocese and local community.

A priest with a pastoral heart is sought to fulfil  ministry in these two varied and important positions within the Diocese (with time divided equally between the two):  as priest–in–charge of a small parish with very committed and active parishioners, and as an assistant healthcare chaplain in one of Ireland’s largest hospitals.
