This parish, based around the county town of Mallow, will soon become vacant.
Mallow, known as ‘the crossroads of Munster’, is the administrative centre of North Cork. It is situated in the Blackwater Valley and is a growing satellite town 35 kilometres north of Cork City. There are three churches: Saint James’, Mallow; Saint Mary, Doneraile; and Saint Mary, Castletownroche.
There is a parish hall, and parish organisations include Children’s Club, Children’s Church, bell–ringing, Mothers’ Union; and Bible Study group.
The Rectory is a 5–bedroomed family home in Mallow.
