The RCB hosted a number of seminars across the Country on a number of topics including: General Data Protection Regulation (GDPR); Insurance Policy Changes arising from GDPR and Parish accounts for Parish Treasures. While a number of seminars were held in Northern Ireland during 2016 and 2017 on Charities Reporting, this new presentation on Parish Accounts for Parish Treasures will be beneficial for those Diocese who have not had their first reporting to CCNI and those who have already been through their first reporting in 2017.
General Data Protection Regulation (GDPR) is new European Legislation that significantly changes UK and Northern Ireland Data Protection law, strengthening the rights of individuals and increasing the obligations on all organisations to protect personal data.
GDPR puts responsibilities on each Parish and Diocese become compliant and be accountable in how we manage personal data.

GDPR came into effect on the 25th May 2018.
