Forms of Application for grants payable from the allocation made by the General Synod to assist stipendiary and retired clergy in meeting the cost of educating their children are issued annually by the Representative Body on 1 July. Completed applications should be returned before the following 1 September. The year runs from 1 August to 31 July and the qualifying date is 1 August.
Grants are paid on a per capita basis without any form of means test.
