Training and Resources

The Church of Ireland, through the Liturgical Advisory Committee, and various Diocesan initiatives have provided a series of schemes to encourage training, development and the growth of church worship. Below you will find links to various resources which we hope will enhance the worship in your local church.

Diocesan Training Schemes 

Armagh A local Diocesan Organ Scholarship is co–ordinated through the Diocesan Secretary, Church House, Armagh. Contact details may be found here

 

Down & Dromore and Connor A local Organ Scholarship is available through the dioceses, and is intended to foster the skills of musicians in the service of the Church, in the Anglican tradition. For more information, contact the Diocesan Offices, Church of Ireland House, 61–67 Donegall Street, Belfast.

 

Dublin & Glendalough Through Church Music Dublin a three–year course is offered (with an optional introductory Foundation Course) leading to the Archbishop of Dublin’s Certificate in Church Music. For more information, click on the link.

 

Cork Cloyne and Ross A local Diocesan Organ Scholarship is co–ordinated through the Diocese. Contact details may be found here
