The Church of Ireland, alongside other Churches and organisations, is working to prevent scams through the Scamwise NI campaign and sharing information from the Gardaí.

By liking and following Scamwise NI or An Garda Síochána on Facebook, you can find out about the latest examples of scams – and help your family, friends and neighbours to know how criminals are seeking to exploit people, especially when we ‘re feeling more vulnerable at this time:

To report a scam, call the PSNI on 101 in Northern Ireland or contact your local Garda station in the Republic.  If you’re not on Facebook, each of the following websites will be able to provide similar advice and help:

Remember: If you can spot a scam, you can stop a scam.

Ireland’s four largest Churches and the Irish Council of Churches are supporting Scamwise NI through the Church Leaders Group.
