An address by Archbishop Michael Jackson for Pentecost 2020

The Archbishop of Dublin, Dr Michael Jackson, delivers this short address for the Feast of Pentecost, May 31 2020. It is part of a number of resources offered by the United Dioceses of Dublin & Glendalough to enable people to continue their worship life at home in a time when gathering in churches is not possible.

The Archbishop’s address is drawn from the reading for the day from Acts 2: 1–21. Acts 2: 7 and 8: ‘Amazed and astonished, they asked: Are not all these who are speaking Galileans? And how is it that we hear, each of us, in our own native language?’
