10 Days of Prayer in Down and Dromore: Ascension to Pentecost

10 Days of Prayer are continuing in the Diocese of Down and Dromore between Ascension Day and Pentecost Sunday.

On Wednesday, Bishop David McClay has shared from 1 Kings 8.54–61– the prayer of Solomon at the dedication of the Temple – before A Sung Litany recorded in Down Cathedral with the Revd Adrian Dorrian and Mr Michael McCracken (singer and organist).

The daily focus for prayer was on youth and children.

Speaking yesterday (Thursday), the Bishop encouraged the diocese to be a people of prayer.

Today (Friday), the focus has been on government and civic leaders.

Today’s intercessions are available here.

Tomorrow, the Bishop will share a message for men in the diocese.  The week will conclude with a message for Pentecost Sunday.
