All are welcome! Christmas Services in Cork, Cloyne and Ross

The United Dioceses of Cork, Cloyne and Ross have announced the details of Christmas Services for the coming festival.

North, South, East and West in County Cork – the Church of Ireland United Dioceses of Cork, Cloyne and Ross – as well as that part of the Diocese in Ardmore, County Waterford – from Ardmore in the East to the Beara Peninsula in the West, from Cape Clear in the South to Mitchelstown in the North, churches, chapels, clergy, lay readers, churchwardens, organists, musicians, choirs and parishioners will be busy in the coming weeks, particularly throughout the 12 Days of Christmas and in the Sundays and days beforehand.

The Bishop, Dr Paul Colton, said: ‘On Christmas Eve and Christmas Day there will, at my reckoning be 88 Christmas Services in approximately 60 different locations throughout County Cork.  This offers everyone – members of the Church of Ireland, visitors, the curious – a vast choice of when and where to come along to celebrate Christmas.  That doesn’t take into account the Carol Services in the days beforehand and afterwards. Everyone is welcome at all of these Services.  I wish all parishes and chaplaincies the joy of the Christ–child as everyone worships and celebrates this Christmas.’

Details of those Church Services in the parishes and chaplaincies in the United Dioceses of Cork, Cloyne and Ross, where they have been supplied, are available here.
