Archdeacon David McClay confirmed as Bishop–designate of Down and Dromore

The House of Bishops, at its meeting in Dublin today (Wednesday, 20th November), confirmed the appointment of the Ven David McClay, Archdeacon of Down, as Bishop–designate of the United Dioceses of Down and Dromore.  His consecration is planned for late in January at St Anne’s Cathedral, Belfast.
