CSSC coffee morning for Cancer Focus NI

The Controlled Schools’ Support Council raised £182 for Cancer Focus NI at its coffee morning in Stranmillis University College on Wednesday (22 May), which brings the total raised by the Council to date to over £2,000.

Funds are being raised in memory of the Council’s former Head of Corporate Services, Pearse McCormick.  The Transferor Representatives’ Council contributed £100 to the fundraising efforts throughout the last year.

The Board of Education (Northern Ireland) represents the Church of Ireland in all educational matters affecting Northern Ireland and nominates representatives of the Church to any education body as required, including the Transferor Representatives’ Council, the Education Authority, and the Controlled Schools’ Support Council.
