20th anniversary of toddler group in Cork Church of Ireland parish
On Saturday 9th February, Carrigrohane Union of Parishes celebrated 20 years of the toddler group in Blarney with an amazing celebration with guests from near and far, including the Rev Francis and Julie Rutledge and the Rev Ruth Jackson Noble.
This community initiative was the first by the parish in Blarney when the church building was refurbished. Now it is used nearly every day of the week by church and community groups, and is proving to be a great blessing for the community.
The parish thanked especially the leaders over the years, not least Ruth Hockey whose dream it was to establish the group in the area.
