New Rector appointed for the Dunfanaghy Group of Parishes

The Rev Canon David Skuce has been appointed to succeed the Rev David McDonnell as Rector of the Dunfanaghy Group of Parishes in north Donegal.

Canon Skuce is currently Rector of Inishmacsaint in the Diocese of Clogher.

The announcement marks a return to the Diocese of Derry and Raphoe for Canon Skuce, who has served previously in the Parish of Urney (in Tyrone) and in the Drumholm Group of Parishes in south Donegal.

His Service of Institution will take place on Friday May 3rd, at 8.00pm, in Holy Trinity Church, Dunfanaghy. The preacher will be t he Rev Paul Thompson, Rector of Derryvullen North, Irvinestown, Diocese of Clogher.
