Board of Education (R.O.I.)
Annual conference for Church of Ireland primary school leaders
Our annual primary schools conference will take place on Saturday, 2nd March, in Dublin City University. This event is attended by representatives of Boards of Management from the Church of Ireland primary schools across the Republic of Ireland.
The Minister for Education and Skills has been invited to attend and we will be launching a new project on ‘capturing the student voice’ in our schools, led by Professor Leslie Frances and Jacqueline Wilkinson.
Information and a booking form will be circulated to all schools.
The Board of Education (Republic of Ireland) represents the Church of Ireland in all educational matters applying to the State,
including as an education partner with the Department of Education and Skills and other educational bodies. It also supports religious education in primary schools under Protestant management and provides support, training and advice to primary level patrons and boards of management.
