- Following on from the recent launch of their website The Marriage Council held a Strategic Planning Day on 9 November 2004 in order to review the work of the Council and to begin the process of establishing objectives for the next two to three years.
- During the day the council identified a wide range of issues within the Church and in the wider world which will have to be taken into account during this process.
- The Rev. John McDowell, Chairman of the Marriage Council said, ?The day has been a very worthwhile exercise. Using a skilled process consultant, who has some sympathy with the work of the Council, yet as an outsider can guide our thinking objectively, has been extremely beneficial?.
The next meeting of the Council will be held on Tuesday 11 January 2005,
