Church of Ireland representatives attending CEC General Assembly

The Rt Revd Patrick Rooke and Ms Maxine Judge, a diocesan reader from Connor Diocese, are currently attending the Conference of European Churches’ General Assembly in Novi Sad, Serbia. The General Assembly is taking place from 31st May to 6th June with the theme of ‘You shall be my witnesses’ (Acts 1.8) and will exploring the concepts of justice, witness and hospitality from a European Christian perspective.

Bishop Rooke and Ms Judge are members of the Church of Ireland’s European Affairs Working Group. The Conference of European Churches (CEC) is a fellowship of 116 Churches across the continent, and it works with more than 40 National Councils of Churches and organisations in partnership.
