Priorities Fund

A farewell and welcome from the Priorities Fund

The Church of Ireland Priorities Fund Committee has taken the opportunity to express its sincere thanks to Mrs Sylvia Simpson who is retiring from her position of Priorities Fund Organiser.

Chairman Roy Totten said: “Sylvia has served Priorities Fund for 27 years and during that time she has helped hundreds of applicants with their forms, supported the committee in many ways, keeping minutes of our meetings, managing the finances of the fund, producing Priorities Fund News and promoting the Priorities Fund at diocesan synods and General Synod. Thank you Sylvia for all the work that you have done to enable Priorities Fund us to support the Church in its mission.”

The committee is also pleased to announce the appointment of Sylvia’s successor. Mrs Clare McEnaney, from Julianstown Parish, has taken up the position of Priorities Fund Administrator and the committee look forward to working together with Clare to develop the work of Priorities Fund.
