Anglican Oriental–Orthodox International Commission meets in Dublin

The Anglican Oriental–Orthodox International Commission is meeting in Dublin this week (October 23 to 28) for the first time since its foundation.  The Archbishop of Dublin, the Most Revd Dr Michael Jackson, is one of the founding members of the Commission, which was formed in 2001 to strengthen the relationships between the Anglican Communion and Oriental Orthodox Churches.

Members of the Commission have attended a reception hosted by the Lord Mayor of Dublin, Councillor Mícheál Mac Donncha, and visited Saints Maximus and Domadius Coptic Church in Drumcondra for prayers in the Coptic tradition.
