The Church of Ireland Bishops’ Appeal has produced an all–age harvest sermon on the parable of the sheep and goats (Matthew 25.31–45) and showing our love for God by loving others. The resource includes an update on recent contributions from the Bishops’ Appeal to help with the humanitarian response to crises in East Africa and Yemen.

Bishops’ Appeal is the Church of Ireland’s World Aid and Development Programme. It was set up by the Bishops of the Church in 1972 in response to the commands in the Bible to bring good news to the poor and relief to the suffering.
