News from Eco–Congregation Ireland
The current edition of the Eco–Congregation Ireland newsletter highlights events and suggested activities to help parishes take a greater interest in the environment.
This features news on the Carrigrohane Union of Parishes cycling team and information on the General Synod resolution on climate change and fossil fuels. Mary Cowhig, a parishioner of Carrigaline Union of Parishes, has composed A Hymn of Gratitude for All Creation for use during Creation Time – a season of reflection on the environment. Creation Time 2017 runs from 1st September to 4th October. Bishop Richard Henderson will lead worship to celebrate Creation Time at St Senan’s Church, Inniscarra, on Saturday, 30th September.
