Irish Church Missions Statement on HIA Report on Manor House Home, Lisburn

Irish Church Missions (ICM) has today issued a statement regarding the findings of the Historical Institutional Abuse Inquiry published today (20/1/17) in relation to Manor House Home, Lisburn, which closed in 1984.

In the statement, ICM says, ‘Our deepest sympathies are with all victims and especially with those who have come forward in connection with alleged abuse in Manor House Home. We deeply regret, despite the care given, that some children may have experienced abuse in the home and for that we unreservedly apologise.’
