 Happy New Year   To all our friends at home and abroad, we would like to wish you all a very  happy and peaceful New Year and also to thank you for your kindness and  support in 2011. We look forward to welcoming you back to Christ Church  in 2012 for what is sure to be an exciting and challenging year for us. Read  on for further news and events for January. 
Services

Daily services take place as follows and all are welcome to attend: 

Morning Prayer : 10am

Peace Prayers : 12pm

Eucharist : 12.45pm 

Evening Prayer : 5pm (where no choral service) 

Sunday Eucharist : 11am

Choral Evensong is sung by the acclaimed Cathedral Choir and can be enjoyed each Saturday at 5pm, Sunday at 3.30pm and Thursday at 6pm. 

Trad Fest at Christ Church Cathedral 
The Templebar Trad Fest will take place from the 25th to the 29th  January. Christ Church is delighted to announce that it will play host to four high–profile concerts including The Dubliners’ 50th anniversary concert as well as a number of free events.    CONCERTS  Wed 25 at 8pm : Mult–instumentalist Michael McGoldrick and Trio with Sephira  Thurs 26 at 8pm : Acclaimed songwriter Ralph McTell with Orlaith Keane  Fri 27 & Sat 28 at 8pm : The Dubliners’ 50th Anniversary Concert

Upcoming Events
  • On Thursday 2nd February at 7.30pm, a special Ecumenical Service will take place entitled ‘In Darkness There is Light’, in celebration of Candlemas. All are welcome to attend. 
  • Throughout the month of February, Christ Church will continue its support of Irish Artists with an exhibition by Irish artist Sean Campbell in The Crypt. 
  • On Thursday 1st March, the Irish Baroque Orchestra returns with a very special concert, entitled ‘The Suffering of the Virgin’, performing works by Vivaldi, Pergolesi and Ferrandini.
