Communicators from across the Church of Ireland with guest speaker, Jan Butter of the ACO, members of the CCB, General Synod Honorary Secretaries and the Archbishops of Armagh and Dublin

The day was an opportunity to address core issues surrounding effective communication of the news and mission of the Church in today’s complex and fast-moving multi-media environment. It included discussion and sharing of ideas on the use of the internet, social media and emerging technologies, as well as the traditional means of printed word and radio and television broadcasting.

The Director of Communications for the Anglican Communion Office, Mr Jan Butter, was the guest speaker at the day. He provided a very thoughtful and interesting talk which highlighted the wider perspective of worldwide Anglican communications.
