Former Hard Gospel Project Director in New Venture

Revd Earl Storey
Revd Earl Storey
The former Director of the Church of Ireland Hard Gospel Project has just launched a new business, Topstorey Communications. Topstorey specialises in communications, research and strategic planning services.

The Hard Gospel Project came to a close at the end of January 2009, as planned at the commencement of the project. It was established by the Church of Ireland in 2005, as an all-Ireland project,  to address the issue of sectarianism and living with difference, and had its roots in the challenges raised by the situation at Drumcree. It has worked at all levels of the Church of Ireland, with central structures and at local level.

Earl Storey said "it has been a privilege to direct this work for the past three years. The challenge of finding a constructive way to overcome our divisions in this community has been at the heart of everything the Hard Gospel Project has done. It has always sought to address difficult issues, but to do so with hope".

Commenting on the establishment of his new business he said, "There are many organisations in our community that are doing tremendous work. Unfortunately the stories of their contributions are often not being told. One of the aims of Topstorey is to enable organisations to tell their story". He continued, "At a time of much uncertainty in our community the words of renowned management guru Peter Drucker embody the core of what Topstorey offers - that the best way to predict the future is to create it!"
