Swapping the mallet for a crozier!
Archbishop John McDowell recently welcomed legendary TV entertainer Timmy Mallett to St Patrick’s Cathedral, on the Hill of Armagh, on his cycling and painting trip across Northern Ireland.
Timmy described Armagh as ‘a delightful city that deserves more attention’. He even got the chance to hold the Archbishop’s crozier! Dean Shane Forster also gave him a tour and insight into the historic literary collection of the Armagh Robinson Library.
