Mojtaba’s Story
The inspiring testimony of Iranian Christian, Mojtaba Hosseini.
Mojtaba came from a nominal Muslim background and encountered Jesus aged 18. Transformed by his new faith, he sought out other believers and eventually became one of the leaders of a growing house church movement. For this Mojtaba was arrested and interrogated but he received a suspended sentence with a warning to cease from all Christian activity. Unable to stop meeting together, the knock on the door finally came and Mojtaba was imprisoned for three years.
In conversation with Bishop David McClay (Part 1):
Mojtaba’s powerful experience of meeting and being transformed by Jesus is one he found repeated in other Iranian believers, many of whom had no previous exposure to Christianity.
In conversation with Bishop David McClay (Part 2):
Where did Mojtaba find the courage to endure interrogation and imprisonment in Iran? The testimony of persecuted Christians has something vital to say to the Church.
