Installation of Canon Denis McCarthy
Canon Denis McCarthy said: “It was an honour to be installed by the Very Rev. Susan Green, Dean of Cloyne, as Prebendary of Donoughmore on the Chapter of St Colman’s Cathedral. I would like to thank the Cathedral Chapter for their support, as well as my fellow clergy, the parishioners of Cloyne who attended the service, the organist Dr Ian Sexton and the choir who sang beautifully throughout the service. I am particularly pleased to occupy the Prebendary of Donoughmore, as my Church of Ireland ancestors hailed from there and now it feels as if the circle is complete.”
