A Prayer for Peace in the Land of the Holy One
The Anglican Archbishop in Jerusalem, Archbishop Hosam Naoum, has called for prayer following the eruption of violence in the Land of the Holy One. Archbishop Michael Jackson has written this prayer in response. From Monday May 24, the Dublin & Glendalough Council for Mission is beginning a three–week fundraising campaign for Al Ahli Arab Hospital in Gaza which has come under extreme pressure in recent days.
Dublin and Glendalough has a partnership link with the Diocese of Jerusalem which runs the hospital. Al Ahli serves the entire community in Gaza city from all backgrounds and without discrimination on religious, gender, social or political grounds. Dublin & Glendalough has supported previous projects at the hospital. A donation button is available here on the website of Christ Church Cathedral.
