A tour of the Church of Ireland in photos

Our General Synod – the Church of Ireland’s governing body – was due to meet this week, from Thursday to Saturday, but this gathering has now been postponed until the autumn due to the continuing pandemic.

In its place, however, we will be giving you a tour of the Church’s mission and ministry in photos over the next few days, highlighting stories from our 12 diocesan photo galleries.

Starting tomorrow (Wednesday), we will be selecting three dioceses per day and encouraging readers to have a good browse and learn more about how we, as a Church, are seeking to follow Jesus in our communities and in other areas of our island.  We hope you enjoy the journey and that it’s inspiring and helpful in how you serve and worship!
