A tour of the Church of Ireland in photos – Day 4
The 2021 meeting of our General Synod was originally due to take place this week, from Thursday to Saturday, but has subsequently been moved to Thursday, 30th September, to Saturday, 2nd October, when it will again meet online.
In its place, over the last few days, photos from around the Church have been shared on our news pages to give readers a broader picture of the mission and ministry of the Church of Ireland across our island. Today, as we conclude, we bring you views from the following three dioceses, and a brief summary of each one.
Just click on each photo below and select the arrow on the right hand side of the first photo to keep browsing. We hope you enjoy them, and feel free to visit our Flickr page to browse our full collection.
The Diocese of Limerick and Killaloe is geographically the largest in the Church of Ireland, stretching from Co. Kerry, through Limerick and into the Mid–West.
The Dioceses of Meath and Kildare cover commuter towns near Dublin and more rural areas further into the Mid–West.
The Diocese of Tuam, Killala and Achonry covers Mayo, Galway and the western part of Co. Sligo.
