Watch: Maundy Thursday Reflection by Archbishop Michael Jackson

Today Archbishop Michael Jackson looks at the message of Maundy Thursday. He says that the message of Maundy Thursday and Good Friday is that service and suffering give voice to glory long before success and celebration could ever do so. He adds that the act of Jesus washing the feet of the disciples was an act of sacrifice.

Maundy Thursday is traditionally the day when those in ministry renew their vows of calling and response to God. The Archbishop says that the ways of ministering have changed radically in 2020 and 2021. He also pays tribute to those not called to formal ministry for the service and sacrifice they have exercised over the past year.
