Library Opening Hours
The RCB Library is open Monday to Friday, 10.00am to 12.30pm and 1.30pm to 4.15pm.
Walk–ins are most welcome for printed books and browsing. To avoid any disappointment, it is advised to alert us of your visit for archives and manuscripts and use the online booking system in advance (see below) or email us to let us know.
Please note the hours of opening for the Library & Archive are different on the following dates:
Tuesday 15th October – closing early, at 3.30pm, due to an event
Wednesday 18th December – opening at 1.30pm
Closing at 4.15pm on Friday 20th December as we celebrate Christmas & New Year and reopening, as usual, at 10.00am on Thursday 2nd January 2025. We look forward to seeing you again in 2025.
Visitors viewing archives and manuscripts are advised to pre–book here. Slots will be released on a quarterly basis. To see available slots, see here.
