Printed Books

Please be advised that from Thursday, the 16th September 2021, and for remainder of the year, Thursdays will be set aside for Members to “Browse and Borrow” (at two time slots, morning and afternoon, 10am–12.30pm and 2.00pm–4.30pm). This is exclusively for Members only to gain access to the printed collections and interact again within the Library building.

Click and Collect will remain in place if you are unable to travel to the Library for printed materials on a Thursday – see   https://www.ireland.anglican.org/about/rcb-library/catalogues/click-and-collect

Additionally, from Tuesday 21st September, the RCB Library will reopen to the public on a phased and gradual basis, commencing initially with Tuesdays and Wednesdays only. As it is no longer possible to facilitate unscheduled visitors, and to avoid any disappointment, visitors wishing to view archives and manuscripts, or spend time reading from the printed collection, must have a pre–booked seat in the reading room in advance of their visit, through a new online booking system. Further information about the Booking System may be found here: https://www.ireland.anglican.org/about/rcb-library/desk-reservation-system

By contrast Thursdays are more informal, and reserved for Members only to interact with the printed collections only at the times above. During your visit, please adhere to public health advice regarding social distancing, hand washing/sanitising and mask wearing. You will need to complete an RCB Library Covid–19 Visitor Form at the time of your visit.
