Main role and functions:

  • Fund management with emphasis on both capital and income
  • Regular strategy meetings to review asset base
  • Calculate quarter/half year/annual returns on in–house funds
  • Research – Irish, UK and European markets
  • Liaise with external investment managers
  • Monitor performance of external investment managers
  • Income targets
  • Review alternative types of investment for possible diversification
  • Manage deposits system
  • Report to the Investment Committee
