Bishops' Advisory Commission on Doctrine

At a special meeting of the Church of Ireland House of Bishops in Dublin today, Tuesday 18th February.
THE REVEREND CANON HAROLD MILLER, Rector of Carrigrohane Parish, Co Cork was elected to be Bishop of Down and Dromore to succeed Bishop Gordan McMullan. He will be known as
Bishop-Elect until his consecration in the near future.
Under the Constitution of the Church of Ireland, the decision passed to the House of Bishops since the Electoral College, which met on Friday 7th February, was unable to elect.
