Synod Services & Communications
Main role and functions (Synod Services)
- Management and delivery of central office services to the General Synod, General Synod Board of Education, RCB and other reporting committees and boards
- Arrangements for meetings of General Synod, agenda preparation, resolutions, minutes and official records
- Organisation of meetings of Standing Committee and provision of support to Synod committees, boards and commissions.
- Provision of research
- Liaison with inter Church and Anglican bodies e.g., the Anglican Consultative Council
- Budget preparation for Synod and related committees
- Monitoring legislative and political developments in association with the Hon Secretaries of General Synod and committee personnel
- Co–ordination between and with the House of Bishops, Standing Committee, Boards of Education and the RCB
