THEFT OF ARTEFACTS

Soon after the Robinson Library, Armagh opened on Tuesday morning,
14th December, two masked and armed men walked into the building and
tied up the assistant, Ms. Lorraine Frazer. They then stole many
precious artefacts from their cases.
Miss Frazer was unhurt but badly shocked by the experience. The
Robinson Library is open to the public and used mainly for research.
It is also open to allow interested members of the public access to some
of the historic documents stored there which relate to the Church of
Ireland. There are so far no leads as to the perpetrators of this
robbery but there is speculation that the articles may be destined for a
private collector since they would be too well-known to be offered for
sale. The Library is offering a reward for the return of the stolen
goods.. Members of the trade and the public are asked to be on the
lookout for the stolen items. They are:
